Lynton LUMINA® IPL 650 & Nd:YAG Technology
Hello Skin Clinic uses the British-manufactured Lynton LUMINA® platform with the IPL 650 hair-removal handpiece and the detachable long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. The 650 handpiece delivers intense pulsed light across 625–1100 nm, while the long-pulsed Nd:YAG option is designed for hair removal on darker skin types IV–VI. The appropriate handpiece, settings and treatment plan are selected only after consultation and patch testing.
Light-based hair reduction directs controlled energy towards pigment in suitable hairs. Hair grows in cycles, so several appointments are usually required. White, grey, very light blonde or red hair may respond poorly because it contains less target pigment. Results vary, and complete or permanent hair removal cannot be guaranteed.
