Is aesthetics training worth it?
Qualified aesthetics practitioners in the UK earn between £200 and £700 per day. Most work 3–4 days a week with full control over their diary. The investment in training typically returns within the first few months of practice. Whether it’s worth it depends on how seriously you approach it — and whether you choose training that actually prepares you to practice, not just to pass an exam.
What is the £1,000 credit?
Do I need insurance to practice after the course?
Yes — all aesthetics practitioners need professional indemnity insurance before treating clients. Our CPD-accredited certification is recognised by UK aesthetics insurers, making you eligible to apply for cover once you’ve completed your training. We’ll advise on insurance at the appropriate stage of your training.
Is the training done on real people?
Yes. All practical training at Hello Skin Clinic Academy is carried out on live models in our working clinic — not on synthetic dummies or mannequins. This is one of the most important differences between our training and classroom-based courses. Confidence with real clients comes from practising on real clients.
